Privacy Policy

Love & Wahala ("the game", "we") is a fictional browser game operated by Hugz Tech Solutions Limited (hugztech.com), Nigeria. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be short and readable.
What we collect
- Your account: a username and password. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see or store your password.
- Your game save: your character's look, name, choices, in-game money and progress, so you can continue on any device.
- Usage data: which screens and episodes you use, the choices you make and whether you share, to improve the story and fix problems. This is collected with Google Analytics for Firebase.
What we don't collect
We do not ask for your real relationship history, contacts, photos, precise location or payment details. The game is fiction: please don't put real people's personal information into your character's name.
How we use it
- To run your account and save your game.
- To understand how the game is played and make it better.
- To show advertisers and sponsors overall audience numbers (never information that identifies you).
We do not sell your personal data.
Who processes it
Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Hosting and Google Analytics) stores and processes data for us. Data may be stored outside Nigeria, including in the United Kingdom and the European Union.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Email hello@lovewahala.com with your username and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account deletes your game save.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and save while your account is active. If you don't sign in for 24 months we may delete them. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Age
Love & Wahala is for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that a player is under 18, we will delete their account.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the game.
